The Vampire Ball

In 1996 a bunch of local "freaks" got together for the upcoming Halloween season and put together a haunted house room to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation. To pay for the haunted house room we decided to throw a costume ball with a vampire theme. The Ball was was a bigger hit than we could have ever imagined! So naturally we decided to do it again the next year...and the next...and now 8 years later (cripes, has it been that long already?), it has become an annual event that has almost outgrown the Treasure Bay ballroom where the event is held. The ball quite literally draws people from all around the world. It is a formal affair, however, all that means is that "casual" attire such as jeans and tee-shirts are not allowed. Ahhhhh, formal does not nessassarily mean a suit and tie. Costuming is highly encouraged and can run from simple makeup, to extravagant outfits that take an entire year to create.(Like this one here.) But bluejeans and tee-shirts are NOT allowed. Pictures of past balls are listed below. If you have some pictures that you would like to see on the site, or would like some more information on the Vampire Ball itself, please e-mail them to me and I will post them as soon as I can.
